Welcome to Authentic You Counselling. I know that reaching out for help can feel a little overwhelming, but I’m here to offer you a gentle, kind, and safe place to just be yourself. Life can be tough, and sometimes we lose our way because of difficult experiences, family stress, or struggles with alcohol and drugs.
At Authentic You Counselling, I believe therapy is more than just fixing a problem; it is a way to find your true self again underneath all that stress and doubt. My goal is to walk beside you as you build your confidence and find the inner strength to create a life that feels right for you.
Practice Areas
I am a fully qualified Drug and Alcohol Counsellor with over 12 years of experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. Throughout my career, I have worked with both voluntary and mandated clients, helping people navigate substance use concerns, complex mental health challenges, and significant life transitions. My professional experience includes conducting comprehensive assessments for residential rehabilitation and detoxification programs, supporting clients with complex mental health needs, and working within community mental health settings. This has provided me with a strong understanding of the challenges people face and the importance of providing compassionate, individualised support.
While I specialise in Drug and Alcohol, general counselling for adults online in Telehealth is also my passion. I provide general counselling services for adults experiencing a range of concerns. My counselling approach is person-centred, compassionate, and collaborative. I understand that every individual's story is unique, and I work alongside you to explore your experiences, identify your strengths, and support you in moving towards the life you want to live.
